        Emerging Leaders

        Telethon Kids Institute has an ongoing commitment to the development of our people, and our award-winning Emerging Leaders Program aims to foster the next generation of Institute leaders.

        The 12 month Emerging Leaders program provides both researchers and professional staff the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and practices across a range of key areas, including:

          • Communication
          • Conflict management
          • Advocacy and networking
          • Mentoring
          • Building teams
          • Financial sustainability
          • Mindfulness

        The program incorporates workshops, mentoring, leadership profiling, team projects and peer support from across the Institute, as well as meetings with prominent business, community and research leaders.

        Alumni from the Emerging Leaders Program are provided with opportunities to continue to stay in touch to share knowledge and continue their professional development.
