Whistleblower
At Telethon Kids, we are committed to the highest standards of conduct and ethical behaviour, research integrity, and good corporate governance, as well as to operating:
- Legally: in accordance with applicable legislation and regulations;
- Properly: in accordance with organisational policies and procedures; and
- Ethically: in accordance with recognised ethical principles.
The Institute has developed a Whistleblower Policy in accordance with relevant provisions of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and Taxation Administration Act 1953 (Cth) to ensure:
- Eligible whistleblowers are informed and supported through the process of making a protected disclosure;
- The Institute has a defined, coordinated and compliant response to investigating and managing protected disclosures; and
- Eligible whistleblowers are protected against detrimental conduct.
Any concerns regarding possible wrongdoing or inappropriate conduct can be raised with one of the Institute’s Whistleblower Protection Officers, as outlined in the table below:
