Of my desire to find out more about Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and how best we could support our two little ones with FASD. I started out attending a couple of talks/presentations and then began as a community member and as part of the steering committee on the Banksia Hill Project. Research has helped make an amazing difference to my children’s lives and continues to do so.

Research continues to discover and investigate a range of therapy supports, education needs, understanding and supportive information, as well as medical breakthroughs that change the lives of children and their parents in so many positive ways. Being able to be involved in that research, and the ability to share that with the families, gives me so much satisfaction and is what motivates me to be involved and hopefully continue to contribute.
