I am very passionate about LGBTQIA+ research, mental health and homelessness. The first time I went to a research meeting, I walked away with two new friends who shared a common interest in helping others. Everyone in that room made space for and respected each other's ideas. It is incredibly important to participate in research so that services can improve, and no voice is too small or insignificant.
