We all want to raise happy, healthy kids! Some children face significant challenges in life. Research enables us to provide the very best outcomes for all, closing the gap for some and eliminating the gap entirely for others. When your child is critically ill it is overwhelming and in many cases life changing. The procedures followed have been developed because other brave people participated in cutting edge research. Watching your child struggle is heart-wrenching, if you can change that for another family it’s more a case of why wouldn’t you, than should I? Community input into research is essential!
