Research is what leads to change. It presents countless possibilities for discoveries - discoveries that can eventually culminate into treatments and prevention for diseases, as well as helping those who may not have adequate healthcare.
As an 18-year-old student who has always been an enthusiast for the area of health and biology - I hope to study medicine at university. I have always had a curiosity for figuring out how things work, the "why" of everything, which is why working with researchers is such a rewarding experience for me - and a career path I hope to pursue in the future.
