Research Assistant, Acting Research Co-ordinator


Elizabeth is a Research Assistant within the Preterm sub-group of the Children’s Lung Health team. Elizabeth is also currently acting as the Research Co-ordinator for cystic fibrosis and anaesthetics projects undertaken by the team.

Elizabeth is a registered Clinical Scientist, whose expertise is in lung function testing having qualified as a Respiratory and Sleep Scientist in the UK. Elizabeth was awarded a PhD in Clinical Medicine Research by Imperial College, London in 2015.  She is a qualified ARTP practitioner and was awarded the Sue Hazard Award for Practitioner of the Year in 2018. Elizabeth has a passion for lung function testing, taking key roles in training and quality control measures within the group. Elizabeth is looking forward to supporting the growth of the team and using lung health investigations to improve the wellbeing of children with diverse respiratory diseases.
