Join Our Sibling Research!

Are you a sibling or a parent of a sibling? Would you like to participate in sibling research? Telethon Kids needs your help!

We are currently recruiting siblings and parents for two research projects:

  1. The mental health support experiences and needs of siblings of children and young people who have a developmental disability.
  2. Sibling experiences of family, friends, social and recreational activities. We need siblings of people with, and without, a developmental disability.

We need Research Advisors to give us feedback on the design of these two research projects (we need siblings aged 13-25, and parents of siblings who are aged 13-25). Participation will involve attending 2-3 online meetings and reading through some study materials.  You will be paid for your time.

We also need Research Participants (siblings aged 13-25, and parents of siblings who are aged 13-25). Participation will involve attending an online meeting and completing two brief questionnaires. You will be paid for your time.

If you would like to be involved in our research, please provide your details below and we will be in contact!

By submitting your details, you agree to be contacted about the research

These research projects have ethical approval from UWA (2023/ET001009 and 2023/ET000577).
