Haileab Fekadu Wolde is a PhD Candidate at Curtin University under the supervision of Dr. Kefyalew Alene. He is also a Research Assistant at Telethon Kids Institute, Australia. His PhD project focuses on spatially targeted interventions to end tuberculosis in Ethiopia. He applies geostatistical models to identify areas and population groups at high risk of TB and undetected TB. He is interested in the spatial epidemiology of infectious diseases and has strong statistics skills including geospatial analysis. He has more than six years of teaching and research experience and he is also an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics and Public Health at the University of Gondar, Ethiopia.
