Manager, Philanthropy Major Gifts
Simmone is Philanthropy Manager at Telethon Kids Institute and manages the Major Gifts and Gifts in Wills programs. Prior to joining the Insitute, Simmone managed the Cancer Council Western Australia’s Communications, Marketing and Philanthropy teams.
With 20 years’ fundraising and communications experience in the not-for-profit, health and media sectors, she has led the development of successful local and national fundraising campaigns.
Simmone is a values-driven philanthropy professional, with a deep desire to make a meaningful contribution to the sector and the WA community. She is committed to reducing health inequities and is currently Board Chair of Ishar Women’s Multicultural Health Services.
Simmone believes it is a privilege to work in philanthropy - with opportunities to work on transformational gifts, securing funding for inspirational scientists who are truly tackling the biggest issues facing our kids, and connecting philanthropists with researchers in a meaningful way. Simmone looks forward to connecting with WA philanthropists who are passionate about kids leading happy, healthy lives.
