BSc(Hons) PhD

Gill is the Project Manager for the Circa Diem clinical study in the Neonatal Cardiorespiratory Health team at Telethon Kids Institute. This 5-year study is investigating whether shielding premature babies from light and sound at night-time while they are in hospital care from birth, improves their brain development, compared to premature babies who receive routine care while in hospital following birth.

More information on the Circa Diem study can be found here: https://www.telethonkids.org.au/projects/the-circa-diem-study/.

Gill joined Telethon Kids Institute in 2021, having spent over 15 years working for the American fast moving consumer goods company Procter & Gamble in both London and Geneva. During her career in Procter & Gamble’s Research and Development function, she led many initiatives bringing new healthcare products to market and generating laboratory and clinical data to support those products.

Prior to her industry career, Gill spent five years at the U.K. universities of Lancaster and London researching the biochemical pathology of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and Familial British and Danish dementias.
