Dr Louise Delane is currently working on a project at the Telethon Kids Institute that focuses on understanding the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people (aged 0-18 years) and their families when engaging with mainstream mental health services across the Perth metropolitan area, in order to generate feasible and evidence-based approaches to improving cultural safety within the mental health system.
Louise also works as a Clinical Psychologist, primarily within the fields of perinatal, family, and child/adolescent mental health. Louise is broadly interested in the relational, contextual and intersectional factors that contribute to mental health.
