Grace Brown

Grace is the Program Manager of Embrace. Embrace’s work is based on child and youth research priorities identified by the community, and Embrace works across the Institute and with external organisations to improve child and youth mental health outcomes in WA.

Grace works closely with Embrace Co-Directors Professor Helen Milroy and Professor Ashleigh Lin.

Grace moved from London to Australia in April 2022. Before moving to Perth and joining the Institute, Grace was a Senior Policy Advisor at the British Medical Association (BMA). Grace also worked at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) in research and policy roles and began her career with health communications agency work.

Grace holds an undergraduate degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge, a masters degree in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and a postgraduate certificate in Social Research from the University of London.
