Alecia is the Head of Development at Telethon Kids Institute, with a career in diplomacy, arts management and fundraising that spans twenty-five years. Prior to this, Alecia managed West Australian Symphony Orchestra’s philanthropy and corporate program, building one of the most significant fundraising programs in WA’s performing arts sector. Alecia established the West Australian Opera’s philanthropic program and also worked with the Sydney Symphony, successfully managing the campaign for the maintenance of a multi- million dollar funding package.

Alecia started her career with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade and had a diplomatic posting to Thailand. Alecia has worked in Budapest setting up a conference arm for the Budapest Business Journal. In London she consulted to the department of the Deputy Prime Minister on communication strategies. 

Alecia continues to be a mentor for young and emerging leader and enjoys volunteer and board roles. An arts graduate (Hons) of the University of Western Australia, Alecia also has a Graduate Diploma in Management and completed a short course through Exponential Fundraising at Harvard University.

Alecia is passionate about philanthropy and the development of a philanthropic culture in Western Australia. Alecia will continue to seek opportunities that help make a positive difference to the way we live.
