Protein Purification and Analysis

Our facilities provide the ability to purify proteins using a multi-step purification of affinity-tagged proteins (ӒKTAxpress) and automated protein micro extractors (MEA 2).

Sophisticated HPLC apparatus (Waters) is available for larger scale protein purification. Protein-protein and protein-small molecule binding kinetics (OctetRed) and molecular chirality (Circular Dichroism Spectrophotometer) can be determined.

• Waters 1525 binary HPLC System: Integrated, high-pressure, binary HPLC pumps that feature on-board pulse dampening and efficient mixing.
