New Telethon Kids Board members

We are delighted to announce two outstanding appointments to our Board of Directors.

Joining the Board are Fiona Drummond, a partner within Ernst & Young’s Western Region Assurance practice, and one of Australia’s leading digital strategists Jane Muirsmith, Managing Director at Lenox Hill.

Fiona joined the Telethon Kids Board in December 2017 and said she was pleased to be part of the Telethon Kids team.

“The Telethon Kids Institute is an amazing organisation that is doing incredible work improving the health of children and young people,” she said.

“I have a strong focus on giving back to the community and believe I can add value to Telethon Kids with the skills I have developed over the years particularly in the areas of finance, risk and audit.”

Jane, who was appointed to the Board in February, said she was delighted to be continuing her connection with the Institute.

“I really enjoyed working with Telethon Kids to develop their digital strategy and new website, which gave me a deep insight into their vision and values,” said Jane.

“I look forward to bringing my expertise to the Board and working with the institute to deliver on its very important mission.”

Telethon Kids Chair John Langoulant welcomed the addition of Fiona and Jane to the Board and said the considerable expertise they bring will be a great asset.

“Both Fiona and Jane bring great skills and experience to the Telethon Kids Board and we look forward to their input and contributions in the coming years,” said John.

John also paid tribute to retiring director Jim McGinty for his high level of service over the past nine years.
