The Telethon Kids Institute is a proud recipient of the ‘Tick of Charity Registration’, awarded by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC).
What does this mean?
The ACNC is the independent regulator for charities and non-profits in Australia. They ensure organisations who have charitable status in Australia are accountable and transparent. In order to receive the tick, an organisation must have met the necessary reporting and governance standards as mandated by Australian law.
Telethon Kids has met the highest level of compliance, which is why we have the tick.
Why haven’t I seen the tick before?
Telethon Kids has always been registered with the ACNC, and operated in a transparent and accountable manner, but the ACNC only made the tick available to eligible organisations in November 2016.
