Sophie is a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Helen Milroy, Associate Professor Jeneva Ohan, and Dr Alix Woolard. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) with First Class Honours from Curtin University. In her honours research, Sophie investigated the visibility of physiological symptoms of anxiety among individuals with social anxiety disorder.
Sophie is completing her PhD at The University of Western Australia. She is supported by an Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship and an Embrace at Telethon Kids Institute Scholarship. Her research interests centre around childhood trauma, dissociation, and the impact of trauma on psychological, neurobiological, and developmental outcomes for children.
