Research Assistant

Novia holds a Master of Biostatistics from the University of Sydney (2016) and is currently undertaking a PhD at Murdoch University investigating polygenic risk scores and complex disease. Her research focuses both on the assessment of disease risk, based on genetic information; and the application of genetic data in the context of personalised medicine. Novia has worked as a Biostatistician at Curtin University and at the Women and Infant Research Foundation. She also holds a BA in Psychology (2003) and a Master of Accounting (2005) from Edith Cowan University.
