Postdoctoral Researcher CRIPSR Gene Editing
Colette Moses completed her PhD in 2018 at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research and the University of Western Australia. Colette is now working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in CRISPR Gene Editing within the Personalised Medicine and Cancer centres at the Telethon Kids Institute.
She is setting up a pipeline for high throughput CRISPR knockout screening to discover novel genetic drivers of disease. Colette is taking gene networks previously identified by the Systems Immunology group and isolating the individual genes that are most critical in influencing primary T cell differentiation and immune responses.
This research aims to identify new therapeutic targets to help those suffering from allergic disease.
