PhD Candidate

Laith Hisham Harb completed a BSc in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology and Honours in Computational Bioinformatics at Curtin University. He’s currently pursuing a PhD in the field of systems biology.

He seeks to understand how environmental exposures in early life impact the gene networks, and how these changes impact the development and long-term function of an organism.

Systems biology is useful for unlocking the link between environmental exposures and developmental/physiological changes. His work will allow for the development of new treatments that are more precise and effective.
