Dr Erika Hagemann is a research fellow at the Telethon Kids Institute and the Research and Translation Team Lead on The ORIGINS Project in Western Australia. The ORIGINS Project is a large, innovative pregnancy cohort established to improve the health of the next and future generations through a greater understanding of how the early environment influences the risk of disease, and the optimal time and type of interventions for disease prevention.
Erika has worked clinically with paediatric populations and families as a speech pathologist but has predominantly dedicated the past 20 years to assisting in the establishment and management of large, longitudinal research projects investigating the developmental origins and pathways of health and disease.
