Senior Research Officer
Tommy Cordin has had a long involvement in health promotion research, spanning 30+ years. She has worked at various research organisations including the University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University and the Telethon Kids Institute.
Tommy has worked closely on school based health promotion research projects involving intervention delivery to families, primary and high school students and teaching staff in the areas of: sun protection, drug use, childhood aggression and school based bullying and cyber bullying.
From 2014, Tommy has been employed as a Senior Research Officer within the Health Promotion and Education Research (HPER) team at the Telethon Kids Institute. Her current roles include co-manager of the "Preventing Anxiety and Victimisation through education" (PAVe) project in WA and coordinator of the “Beyond Bullying: Positive Change for All” project. Tommy also provides administrative support to the Director and Co-director of CoLab (Collaborate for Kids) and more generally to the HPER team.
