Emma has been at Telethon Kids Institute since 2017, and is currently a Research Officer in the Centre of Excellence for Children and Families over the Life Course. The Life Course Centre brings together Australian and international researchers who aim to address questions surrounding the transmission of disadvantage within families and across generations.
Emma’s work involves investigating factors related to student wellbeing and learning progress over time.
Prior to joining the Life Course Centre, Emma worked on Telethon Kids research projects in Aboriginal Health, particularly on school-based interventions in remote communities. Before joining Telethon Kids, Emma worked as a Research and Evaluation Officer on type 2 diabetes prevention and management programs at Diabetes WA.
